What does the program provide?

Down payment assistance

What does the program require?

Buyer must

  • Contribute at least 250 hours of “sweat equity” volunteering at the construction site or at HabiStore (accommodation may be made for those who cannot work at those locations)
  • Be able to pay a mortgage, property taxes and insurance

The property must

  • Be constructed or rehabilitated through the Habitat for Humanity program
